Do we pick up and deliver?

Yes, if you are not able to drop something off and you need it picked up, we can usually do that. Also if you purchase something and need it delivered, we can usually drop it off. First floor or garage is always preferred by us. We try to avoid staircases for ovvious reasons. This will usually save you money and help to keep us on schedule while minimizing opportunities for things to go wrong. Drop off prices are determined on an individual basis. The dollar amount of these services can range from $50 and up. We are simply trying to break even on these expenses and will always try to keep them at a minimum. Our goal is to help you, not hurt you. Unfortunately we cannot insure your home to protect against dings, scratches or any other damage that may occur to your home or the items we are handling. You use us to perform these services at your own risk. We are not insured like a moving company might be. We have over 25 years of experience. Though very unlikely, minor scratches or dings have happened during the pickup, delivery, and drop off. Barrington Resale cannot insure your home or property against damage that may occur during pickup and delivery. Again,, we are trying to help you, not hurt you. We always do our very best and take every precaution to ensure things go smoothly.

Outside delivery or pickup services are also available to you through apps such as Dolly or U-ship.

Do we fix furniture?

Yes if you have furniture you want us to look at give us a call. We have a lot of experience in repairing and reinforcing furniture of all kinds.

How to go about selling us furniture?

If you have something for sale email pictures and your cell phone number to barringtonresale@yahoo.com or call us for a phone number you can text pictures to. We will review the pictures and give you an estimate by phone. No estimates will be done without actually talking to somebody first. That is why we recommend you call us first. If you can’t bring it in, we offer pick up.
